A private two hour rental of the Bucks County Children’s Museum in New Hope costs $795, holds 75 people, runs Saturdays 4:30 to 6:30, and books six months out. A pavilion at Core Creek that seats 60 costs $80 if you live in the county. Both are real birthday parties. The gap between them is most of this article.
Below are the venues that actually host children’s parties in Bucks County, with addresses and every posted price we could verify. Where a place does not publish numbers, we say so instead of guessing.
Trampoline, climbing and ninja parks
- Funzilla, 500 Lincoln Highway, Fairless Hills. The most transparent pricing in the county. Weekday parties (Monday to Thursday) are $299 for up to 10 kids, Friday and Sunday $399, Saturday $499. Extra children are $29. That buys 1.5 hours of play, 2.5 hours in a private room, two pizzas, two pitchers of drinks, jump socks, a party host and paper goods. A 10 percent service charge is added at the end and a 50 percent deposit books the date. Walk-in pricing runs $25 to $45. Details here.
- Altitude Trampoline Park, 1045 Bustleton Pike, Feasterville-Trevose. Tiered jump packages, socks required, quoted by phone.
- Doylestown Rock Gym & Adventure Center, 3853 Old Easton Road, Doylestown. The Classic Climbing Party is social and open to younger kids. The Ultimate Climbing Party is structured and everyone has to be 9 or older. A $50 non-refundable deposit holds the slot.
One correction, because other roundups still get it wrong: Sky Zone in Levittown on Runway Road has closed. Do not drive there.
Indoor play spaces and toddler gyms
The right category for a first, second or third birthday, when 90 minutes is the whole party.
- Playspace by Kidology, 928 Jaymor Road Unit C-150, Southampton. $525 for two hours with exclusive use of the whole playground for up to 12 children, plus $10 per extra child and $50 per additional half hour. A $150 deposit books it. Grip socks are $2.50, free for the birthday child. The space is built sensory friendly. Booking page.
- Ultimate Play, Doylestown. Standard parties are capped at age 6 and under. Private and after-hours bookings open it to older kids. $100 deposit, about two hours with 50 to 60 minutes of play. Balloons must come through their approved vendor. Party info.
- Playpad Bucks, Langhorne (to age 9) and Little Explorers Adventure Park, Dublin (to age 6), both with weekday and weekend tiers.
- Giggleberry Fair, Route 263 at Peddler’s Village, Lahaska. Still open, still has the six story obstacle course, carousel and arcade. Open 10 to 5 Monday through Thursday, 10 to 7 Friday and Saturday, 10 to 6 Sunday. Private buyouts available. Hours and packages.

- Newtown Athletic Club. Indoor parties use a 65 foot floating obstacle course; outdoor is a four acre water park with slides, a lazy river and a zero-entry pool.
- Oxford Valley Park has a county pool; county swim memberships run $60 to $180.
Sports, gymnastics and go-karts
- Dynamix Gymnastics, Langhorne (four package tiers), and Above the Bar Gymnastics, Jamison.
- Strike Zone Arena, Langhorne. Nerf battle parties, a genuinely good answer for 8 to 11 year olds.

Movie theaters and Sesame Place
The County Theater at 20 E. State Street in Doylestown rents the house to 160 people, with birthday slots before normal opening: Friday through Sunday 9am to noon, most weekdays 9am to 3pm. The kid’s name on the historic marquee starts at $200.
Sesame Place Philadelphia at 100 Sesame Road in Langhorne is very much open, but its packaged birthday offer is listed as not currently available. Group ticket rates are still worth asking about.
Parties that come to you
If your house or a rented pavilion is the venue, the entertainment travels. The Peaceable Kingdom and Sleepy Hollow Ponies run mobile petting zoos and pony parties across Bucks. Video game trucks park in the driveway for 90 minutes to two hours. Churchville will bring reptiles to your living room for $125. Character performers and balloon twisters book heavily on spring Saturdays.
What a park pavilion actually costs
Nobody publishes this clearly, so here it is. Bucks County Parks and Recreation rents pavilions at Core Creek, Playwicki, Silver Lake, Tinicum, Lake Towhee, Tohickon Valley and Peace Valley. Rates depend on capacity and residency.
| Capacity | Resident | Non-resident | Non-profit |
|---|---|---|---|
| 40 people | $75 | $150 | $50 |
| 60 people | $80 | $160 | $55 |
| 80 people | $85 | $170 | $60 |
| 100 people | $90 | $180 | $65 |
Group picnic areas, tables without a roof, are cheaper still: $60 resident for 50 people, $70 for 100. Core Creek alone has eleven pavilions, its largest running up to $250 resident and $500 non-resident. The full fee schedule lists every pavilion by number.
The rules are short and worth reading. Reserved use runs 8am to sunset. Alcohol and glass containers are prohibited. Fires only in park-supplied grills, and you bring your own charcoal. Dogs on leashes no longer than six feet. Signs come down when you leave. Cancel in writing at least seven working days out and you pay a $10 fee; cancel later and you get nothing back.
How far ahead to book
County pavilions at Core Creek and Peace Valley on Saturdays in May, June and September are the hardest reservations in Bucks County. Treat January as the month you book a spring party. For a July or August weekday you can often get something a few weeks out. Township pavilions in Warminster, Northampton, Middletown, Falls and Lower Makefield are cheaper and easier, though most require proof of residency for the lower rate. Indoor venues run the opposite pattern: winter weekends fill first, because nobody wants to gamble on weather.
Free and nearly free
- Township parks. Most townships rent pavilions to residents for well under the county rate, and plenty of neighborhood playgrounds have picnic tables you can just use. Our guide to the best playgrounds in Bucks County flags which ones have real bathrooms, the deciding factor for a park party.
- Community and rec centers. Northampton’s Recreation Center on Newtown-Richboro Road, the Warminster WREC and the Middletown Community Center all rent rooms to residents cheaply.
- Library branches. Bucks County Free Library branches have bookable meeting rooms, but read the policy first. They are meant for programs and community use rather than private celebrations, so call the branch and ask.
- Your backyard. A $125 reptile visit, a sheet cake and a sprinkler beats a $500 package more often than parents admit.
Questions to ask before you pay the deposit
- What is the head count, and what happens over it? Most packages cover 10 to 16 children. Extras run $10 at Kidology, $29 at Funzilla, $33.99 on Hellerick’s Aerial Adventure.
- Do adults count, and is food included? At the Children’s Museum the 75 person cap includes every grown-up, and you bring all the food yourself. Funzilla and Hellerick’s include pizza and let you bring cake only.
- Host, socks, service charges. Funzilla and Kidology include a party host; a pavilion does not. Grip socks are mandatory at most play spaces, so budget $2.50 to $4 a head. Funzilla adds 10 percent at the end, and deposits are almost always non-refundable: $50 at the Rock Gym, $100 at Ultimate Play, $150 at Kidology.
- Allergies. Ask whether the kitchen handles nuts, whether you can bring a separate safe cake, and whether private bookings allow outside food. Ultimate Play permits outside food at private parties if it is nut free.
- Accessibility. Ask about step-free entry to the party room and quiet time for a sensory-sensitive guest. The nature centers will run a slower, smaller program on request.

For rainy-day backups, see our indoor things to do with kids guide. Several venues here also run summer camps. For the parks, start with the parks and trails guide, then browse by town or in our guides.
