Bucks County Blog is an independent local news publication covering Bucks County, Pennsylvania. We are not owned by a chain, a hedge fund, or a national media company. The site is owned and operated in Doylestown, PA.

Leadership

Sean Ahern – Publisher and Editor. Sean is a Doylestown-based entrepreneur and lifelong Bucks County resident. He founded Bucks County Blog to fill the gap left as legacy newspapers cut local coverage, and oversees all editorial standards, technology, and business operations.

Jillian Wyatt – Creative Director. Jillian leads the publication’s brand, design, and visual identity.

Contributing Writers

Kelsey Weiss, Brian Rinaldi, Joe Downing, Danny McDowell, and Linda Kelly contribute reporting and features across our coverage areas: local government, public safety, schools, development, business, events, and community life.

How We Work

Bucks County Blog operates a modern, technology-assisted newsroom. We monitor public records, municipal feeds, police reports, and community discussion across the county every day, and our editorial process uses automation and AI tools under human editorial direction to research, draft, and publish stories quickly. Every story follows our editorial standards, and the publisher is accountable for everything we run.
